Dr. Tippett learned small town values growing up in Vidalia, GA. After graduating high school, he attended Georgia Southern College where he studied pre-med and played football. After serving an eighteen month church mission to Ecuador, South America, he attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and graduated in 1991. Afterwards he completed an externship with glaucoma specialist, Dr. Harvey DuBiner, M.D., and became certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease as recognized by the International board of Examiners in Optometry. Dr. Tippett continues to keep abreast of the current treatment for ocular diseases.
Dr Tippett has been in Augusta since 1992. He is married to Denise and they are the parents of four children: Addison, Dallin, Braden, and Jaren. They are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and support ballet, scouting, swimming and other wholesome community activities.
Originally from Cordele, Georgia, Dr. Grahl received her undergraduate degree at Georgia Southwestern State University. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry from The Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 2009. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association. Dr. Grahl emphasizes comprehensive eye care for the whole family including infants and children. Dr. Grahl is licensed to treat patients with all types of ocular diseases and injuries, and specializes in the treatment of chronic dry eye disease.
When not in the office, she and her husband, Dan Grahl, devote their time to their two children.
